One of the closest hotels to the centre of queenstown. a five minute walk to the shops, restaurants, and activity booking centres. the rooms are small to medium in size and furnished simply. the rooms benefited from a refurbishment in 2002, however the bathrooms are a bit dated. many of the rooms have excellent views over the lake and mountains. room facilities include sky tv, refrigerator and mini-bar, as well as iron/ironing board and hair dryer. the hillside brasserie services both the a-line guests and the adjoining scenic-circle aurum guests. the menu is straightforward and has something for most tastes at a reasonable budget. a good straightforward hotel. popular with many nationalities. well located to the town centre.

Cancellation Policy

• A minimum cancellation fee of $110.00 will be charged if you cancel your booking, in addition to any fees imposed by the supplier, which may be up to 100% of monies paid. a fee of $27.50 will be charged for amendments. for further details please refer to the aot group, contact details listed below. accommodation supplier’s cancellation conditions:

Attractions

• Queenstown is truly new zealand’s adventure playground. there are so many things to see and do in queenstown that you will be able to find the activity or attraction to suit your interest and needs. the staff at your hotel will be only too please to assist you in deciding what is best for you. take a jetboat ride on the nearby shotover or kawarau rivers.
• there are a wide variety of operators to choose from. you can also test your limits with bungy jumping, with a variety of locations from the original kawarau bridge, where it all started to the new nevis highwire bungy, where you jump from a platform suspended high above the valley floor. this new jump, at 134 metres is 3 times the height of the original kawarau bungy. to add to the adventure menu, there is also white water rafting, helicopter flights and tandem skydiving. you can combine all of these activities with a queenstown adventure combo, which offers you a variety of options and adventure combo packages to choose from.

Transportation

• Follow the main highway from frankton/airport area.
• the highway will become frankton road and thereafter stanley street. the hotel is located on the right hand side of the road just as the road descends down the hill to the town.
